Min. Gerald Cox

♥ Quick Information:

Min. Gerald Cox holds the M.A. and Educational Specialist degrees (University of Dayton) and the B.S. in Education (Millersville University). Additionally, Mr. Cox has earned several education licenses including the Superintendent’s license.

He has extensive leadership experiences including nearly two years as Language Arts Department Chair and twenty years as middle and high school as principal or assistant principal. He currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Trotwood-Madison School District. In addition to the years spent in educational leadership, Mr. Cox spent an additional seven years teaching middle and high school. In these positions he demonstrated his child advocacy by facilitating summer school programs and serving as the sponsor for several extracurricular activities including soccer, basketball, and Odyssey of the mind.

♥ Other facts:

–       He teaches the 2nd/3rd grade class in Kidz Church at the Dayton Vineyard and is the co-leader of Koinonia, a home Bible Study.

–       He was the founder for KIDS [Kids In Divine Service] Church at Omega Baptist Church where he also supervised Children’s church.

–       He presents workshops on effective parenting and the roles parents play in educating children.

–       His work in the community includes serving in leadership roles on the neighborhood Boards in two diverse communities and a Trustee at Omega Baptist Church.

–       Mr. Cox is a certified facilitator for Dynamic Marriages.  For over fifteen years, he has partnered with Rev. Cox in the marriage ministry.

–       For 3 years, Gerald was a Personal Trainer certified by NDEITA.
